Janelle G Dyer lives with her husband, Greg, in the regional city of Toowoomba, Australia. She has two adult children, Gregg and Koren. She has worked as a chaplain in state and private education. She has written many drama skits, top thriller novels, plays and short stories, some of which have been performed or printed in youth publications and hard-cover format, nationally and internationally. As a youth, she was a member of an international repertory theatre group, Covenant Players, and did her training in USA. Following that, she toured extensively throughout Australia and in particular, performed to small communities in remote areas of the continent. Later, she founded a small repertory drama and puppetry group called Stepping Stones. Together with her husband, she has worked with children and youth in education for more than thirty years.
